Tooch Design is an East Bay–based residential design and visualization studio working with homeowners across Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, and surrounding communities.

We specialize in ADUs, remodels, and custom residential projects, unique structures and landscape design. With clear 3D visualization, we help you make informed decisions early—before construction begins.

What We Do

We help homeowners move from idea to permit-ready design with clarity and confidence.

Our services include:

  • Residential design (ADUs, remodels, additions, new homes)
  • As-built drawings
  • Full construction documentation
  • City permitting support and code review
  • Architectural visualization and 3D modeling
  • Landscape Design

By combining design and visualization, we make it easier to understand your project, evaluate options, and avoid costly changes later.

How We Work

Residential projects come with a lot of unknowns. Our process is designed to reduce that uncertainty.

We start with your goals and the realities of your property, then develop solutions that are both thoughtful and buildable. Visualization is used throughout to help you clearly see what’s being proposed and make decisions with confidence.

Design Approach

Collaborative   Logical   Efficient   Adaptive   Responsive

  • Our Design process are collaborative, bringing together clients, consultants,  to develop and shared solutions.
  • We follow a logical approach to design, organizing space and function in a clear and purposeful way.

  • Our work focuses on efficient use of space, materials, and resources to create practical and sustainable designs.

  • We create adaptive designs that can evolve with changing needs and future uses.

  • We care our design is responsive to its context, carefully considering the site, climate, community

Sustainability

Sustainability is addressed through practical decisions—how the home is oriented, how materials perform, and how the space functions over time.

By considering these factors early, we create homes that are more efficient, more comfortable, and better suited to their environment.
